  • Mining, Oil & Gas

Mineral Resources is a leading Australian mining company with a growing portfolio of world-class operations across mining services and commodities.

Founded in WA and proudly based in Perth, Mineral Resources is the world’s largest crushing contractor and a leading pit-to-port service provider, and Australia’s fifth-largest producer of iron ore and the world's top 5 lithium producer. We’re growing fast and have big plans for the future, which means continuing to look for agile ways to achieve great things together as a Mineral Resources family.

As our business continues to grow, Graduate Program participants will be empowered to help support high-priority projects from the outset

Our aim is to be recognised as one of the great Australian companies and a leading provider of safe, innovative and sustainable mining services

Our Purpose
We focus on providing innovative, agile and low-cost solutions across the mining infrastructure and supply chain – operating with integrity and working together with our people, our clients, our customers and the broader community.

Our Values

We Are Agile
You won’t hear “I don’t know” or “I can’t” very often at MRL. We employ the best in the business to keep us moving forward.
We act fast and seize opportunities.
We think differently.

We Are Family
We show up for each other and have each other’s backs.
We care for each other and the world around us.
We celebrate our differences because they make us stronger.
Above all else, we are family.

We Achieve
Every person in our business contributes to our success.
We do challenging work and we achieve incredible things.
We have the courage to take on the impossible and the passion to make it happen.

Sustainability

Mineral Resources strives to generate shareholder value by managing our material sustainability topics and maintaining our social licence to operate

We understand that we have a duty to operate responsibly and minimise the impact of our operations on our people, the environment and the communities in which we operate. This can be achieved only by operating with integrity and respect, focusing on the safety and well-being of our people, working in partnership with our stakeholders and challenging the status quo by actively exploring new ideas and opportunities.

MinRes is committed to reconciliation and recognises and respects the significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ communities, cultures, and histories. I acknowledge and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional custodians of the land.

What Graduates Say About Them
  • I really like being a part of a large company. The amount of opportunities, diversity in the type of work performed, and the amount of people you meet is great experience for a graduate.
  • The opportunity to progress your career.
  • I'm part of an amazing team where everyone is open to help and we all have a "yes I can" mentality. The only 'wrong' questions are the ones you don't ask, and the manager and senior employees are always happy to explain.
  • The thing which stands out for me at MRL is the cultural diversity and inclusiveness. The people are friendly, approachable, and overall it has a good work culture.
  • Since the company is still in the growth phase, there's a lack of fixed processes/procedures to complete certain tasks.
  • The company reacts to the market and is constantly evolving, which can be both positive and negative. This can be stressful when prioritizing tasks as things shift so quickly.
  • The lack of communication between departments.
  • The extra hours that you sometimes have to do to get the job done.
