Career Prospects at Mineral Resources

All the way through the program my boss has been keeping tabs on where I want to take my career and how they can support that.

I believe the role I am in will equip me with a diverse set of skills, which will enable greater opportunities for career development. The graduate program takes into account each individual's interests with a choice of rotation to different departments (in some instances).

We have a graduate that has been promoted as a senior engineer within three years of working at MRL.

The opportunity to learn and progress is good if you are keen to lean

There are many examples of deserving individuals progressing their careers in the company on the basis of hard work and dedication.

Make a good impression with your manager. The grad program does not guarantee you a role at the company but if you make a good impression, it would give you an opportunity to secure you a permanent position and move up the ranks.

The company has been growing quite quickly since I've joined and that's created opportunities for people to move up internally.

During my interview I was told that after the successful completion of my graduate program, I could receive a job offer to stay in the company.

During my time as a graduate, I was always told that if there is anything that you find interesting let the managers know so they can get you trying it out. In the end, they want you to do what you love just as much as yourself.
