LGBTQ+ at Reckitt Australia & New Zealand

Reckitt aims to provide a work environment that is inclusive and supportive for all employees across the spectrum of sexual orientation, gender identity or intersex status. Reckitt celebrates diversity in all its forms by eradicating discrimination and empowering our LGBTQI+ colleagues to bring their whole selves to work.

  • Reckitt’s LGBTQI+ Employee Resource Group is in place to mobilise a strong network of allies from around the globe that help raise awareness and drive support across and beyond the organisation.
  • The network provides a safe space, support and resources for Reckitt’s LGBTQI+ community to express their true selves at work. It holds forums for people to come together and discuss key topics, including what needs to change in society and at work to empower this community.
  • In February & March, Reckitt celebrated LGBTQI+ History Month – events with members of transgender community to help the wider Reckitt community understand inclusive language and behaviours and to increase the awareness and understanding of issues and concerns that impact the LGBTQI+ community.
  • Reckitt’s Parental leave policy is inclusive of same-sex partners/families and includes adoption, surrogacy and foster parents
  • 2023 has been EPIC so far in terms of Mardi Gras. Durex were proud partners this year for Sydney's World Pride. Reckitt employees got to speak on their experience of being a member or ally of the LGBTQI+ community as well as joining in and volunteering at many of the big shows and events.
  • The Diversity & Inclusion committee also implemented the rainbow staircase in the Sydney office, showing just how central inclusion is at Reckitt
