Well promotion is generally based on your performance, but in here I think they also considerate the length of your tenure for you to be promoted.

It was a great feeling to be promoted, from being an associate to specialist. I think the best way to move up the ranks is to do the job excellently.

I was able to be promoted despite being in the company for only 9 months. And I was thankful for this opportunity because it somehow shows that my manager and team see something good in me and that I deserve this promotion. This gives me job assurance as well as job stability.

The task and training that we learn as intern, it can help to us if we work already in a corporate, especially if we be a regular employee of Emerson. Because, we have some knowledge already to the task that we assign for us.

I was hired as a fixed-term employee and was absorb to regular employee after 8 months.

Since I'm still currently an intern I haven't got any idea about promotion and career progression. However, I recently found out that there are various workshops and trainings that enhances leadership skills and will later help an employee attain a leadership level position.
