Upon completion of the grad program, there's the opportunity for APS5 and APS6 progression and you have the freedom to choose the area that you align with. In terms of opportunities more broadly, you're open to some other opportunities that other staff have available such as studies assistance if you wanted to go back and undertake additional study. We also have a whole capability and development team that offer trainings, workshops, seminars, and panel events available to you if needed.
If you wanted to undertake a six-month role in another department and come back, that's also an option. The skills you learn during the PM&C grad program are very valuable outside of government work as well; so if you wanted to work in NGO's, understanding how the budget process and government policy work are really important. Coming out of the grad program as an APS5, APS6, or spending six months extra at PM&C would make you eligible to apply for leadership opportunities in other places.
