Tomair Bennett

6.50 AM

I wake up and stay in bed for 10 minutes, pretty much just chilling before the hustle and bustle of the day.

7.00 AM

I get up and get myself ready for work. I don’t eat at home, because I’m lucky enough to have a kitchen at work I can use.

7.25 AM

I’m out the door and in my car. I normally have my favourite podcast ready to go for the trip there. It works out well because my trip is around 45 min and my podcasts are that long too.

8.10 AM

I arrive at work and find a parking spot. I normally have a good spot near the front because I get to work 20 minutes earlier than most of the other guys. I get to work early because I want to have enough time to make myself some food

8.30 AM

I start my workday by going through my emails and setting up all of my systems

9.00 AM

I start to work through my tasks for the day. These can take anywhere up to two hours if they are complex.

11.00 AM

Contact some prospects and have a chat, get to know them and see if there is anything we can do for them. These can be people from anywhere around Australia.

12.30 PM

It’s lunchtime. I normally pack my own lunch, but today is Friday and I’m going to be going out with a few others to get ourselves something special. It’s always a nice thing to look forward to after a long work week.

1.30 PM

I continue to contact the prospects and occasionally clients that need their information or insurance updated. This can often take me to the end of the day, but depending on the workload I may have an hour at the end of the day to relax and just go through my work notes for the week.

5.00 PM

Out the door and in the car, it’s Friday and that means there is less traffic to get home, another win for the week.

5.45 PM

Head to the gym for an hour to wind down, after the gym I have dinner with my family. It’s always good knowing that my work can stay bac in the office and that I’m not expected to do overtime.

7.30 PM

The night is mine to do as I please. Friday nights are always the best.
